Sustainable - Made from 100% post-consumer waste, primarily plastic bottles. We used approximately 8 plastic bottles to make this product. Certified through the Global Recycled Standard.

All Slowtide products exceed the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification, ensuring that they are safely produced and do not contain any allergic substances. I haven’t heard of Slowtide at all but I bought this towel from a hotel on Kauai just to try because it looked so pretty. I took it home and used it and pretty pleased that is is very absorbent. I bought 4 more online!

I am so glad I found these towels. Normal cotton towel become stinky when wet and dirty, take longer to dry and are not that absorbent. These towels are incredibly absorbent, never smell even when wet and dirty and dry very fast. I prefer the designs that have a whiter background like the Pineapple or the Hele. Finally, I feel good about Saving plastic from the landfills. Can’t beat that!
