I purchased a few Grateful Dead towels as a present for my fiancé so I knew the quality of SlowTide would be worth any amount of money and I wanted something of my own. This blanket is heavenly!!! I love its lightweight texture while providing a certain snuggle around my body. Although we have not brought it to the beach yet, we have used it in the backyard, at family events, outdoor venues for live music, and camping. I spilled soda on it and I was able to wipe it off the blanket with my hands with a very small wet spot. We’ve had a wet summer this year and found it may pass along moisture when placed on the ground (not surprised as this is marketed as a “beach blanket”) but it holds off the moisture just as well as my old Mexican blanket. As I mentioned this blanket far exceeded my expectations and I love the subtle Grateful Dead reference to show off my vibe. Thanks Slowtide!!
