I am an open water swimmer in the PNW. It's going into late October up here and I'm swimming and then changing into running clothes using the Digs poncho. The poncho keeps me warm and gives me the privacy to change semi-publicly. Super warm, super soft, and a bargain IMO.
I don't know how I operated for so long without this! No more soaked, frozen butt (and other parts) in the parking lot after stripping out of my wetsuit. No more sketchy parlor tricks to get into my pants without flashing passers-by (or looking like I'm up to something unsavory). To top it off, it is super soft and comfy with plenty of room. So comfy in fact that once I'm rid of my wetsuit and undies, I stroll around in it for a while because I hate taking it off! (I'm now inventing other excuses to wear it). My only minor gripe is the pocket openings are a bit snug for my Popeye-like forearms so peeling down my wetsuit was a little funky. Instead, I now keep my arms inside the poncho to finish the job (including pulling up my pants). Other than that minor detail I wouln't even think of letting this go. Not a necessity but an affordable luxury everyone should indulge in.
Love this thing.....a must have
I love the pockets on the side where I can have access for changing. I was worried that it was too big for me since I'm petite but it was the right size and covered me well. I finally found the product that fits all my must haves.
good, soft, thick material
pockets have openings to the inside of poncho.
Have not yet used the poncho for taking wetsuit on and off.
